Mission Impossible 4~ Since I knew this movie to be showing up in all the cinema, I have watch back the movie from Epd 1 - 3 and flash back all the stories. Nice actions movie ever! So do watch Mission Impossible, It's definitely a possible mission for me to watch this movie!

Nyonya food @ Rumah Peranakan, Taman Sea. It just miles away from my house but this is the first time we pay a visit to this restaurant.

Some CNY cookies and some Baba and Nyonya decoration around this restaurant.

Clock wise: ABC RM6, Cendol RM4 and Sago Gula Melaka RM3.80. Sago Gula Melaka doesn't really have that much of sago as displayed picture, not so good comment from my friend.

Honey Sotong - RM13.80. Not bad, I like it.

Kerabu Mango - RM12

Pandan Chicken - Rm16.80

Ju Hu Char - RM12, turnip fried with shredded chicken and dried sotong, wrapped with lettuce. It makes me miss my mum's cooking..

Gerang Asam Fish (Fillet) - RM22, fish cooked in spicy gravy with lemon grass, bunga kantan and tomatoes. Kinda small portion.

The bill end up with RM115.17 for 6 of us. Not really big portion for all the dishes and my friend not really satisfy for their Sago Gula Melaka.. Anyhow, it still personal justification.

William's Corner located at SS26/9, Taman Mayang Jaya, it's a road side stall which nearby old Lim Kok Wing's building. The concept is exactly same as Murni Mamak as both of them are brothers. However, the portion at William's corner is much more bigger than Murni, as well as the price.. =)

Butter Prawn Indoo Mee - RM17, one of my favourite meal. Recommended for all the folks..

Seafood Risotto - RM40, it's a huge plate of seafood risotto which contained round-grained rice with prawns, sliced fish, mussels, scallops, lala and squids, all top up with lots of creams. I love the grilled fish, it's fresh. Good for sharing, let's say 3-4 person? With some additional order of course.

Nasi Goreng with Pandan Leaf Chicken - RM15

Roti Naan without cheese... :P

Overall the food at William's corner is good if you don't mind about the environment, although some of the dishes might be pricey abit, but no harm if you got the yummylicious food as a pay back right? =)

Handmade Oyster Mee Sua, 蚵仔麵線.. One of the must try dish when you visiting Taiwan. Recommended dish..

Seafood Tempura, 甜不辣 - One of my favourite snack food in Shihlin. Ho chiak!

Shihlin, Taiwan Street Snacks has came out their new snack menu - Sweet Plum Potato Fries , 烤地瓜.. Yummy yummy! Recommended dish..

Last but not least, folks familiar Taiwanese snack - XXL Crispy Chicken, 超大雞排. Crispy skin yet tender meat, nice one! But one thing is they will not cut for you, thus you need to bite the whole XXL Crispy Chicken, or use your own way to separate it.. And I did it with chopsticks.. lolz

Tambun seafood is a must when you visit Penang as you will surely passby when you heading to Penang or heading back to south.

Tambun seafood is pretty delicious and cheaper than any other place, recommended for seafood lover..

Munakata Unlimited Ala Carte Japanese Buffet - RM77 Nett, served authentic Japanese food especially on grilled food. Hence, if your main purpose is to having sashimi, Munakata will not be your choice as they only served Salmon Sushi and Salmon Sashimi for buffet.

Japanese food will never complete without Salmon Sashimi, and my ala carte japanese buffet is just a 70% complete as Munakata has sort of Salmon Sashimi on that day. Received call from Munakata Supervisor, been told that they have sort of Salmon Sashimi on Sunday evening due to too much needs the day before. However, she has agreed to keep the only 3 sets of Salmon Sashimi for me, what a precious Salmon Sashimi on that night.. lolz

Private VIP room has well prepared for us, enjoy the great food and privacy as well.

Thanks to AM brought me to Decanter, a cozy place where the patrons can comfortably enjoy their delicious food and mixed around with their friends.

The way to Decanter Damansara Height is pretty simple. Just follow the direction from Sprint Highway and you will passby Victoria Station and Sri Ayutthaya Medan Damansara which is on your left, keep left and you will passby Esso on your left. One of my favourite food review again..It's about Thai Food. But this time, I'm not that satisfy for my photography skill.. um.. The outcome is just out of my expectation... So pardon me for that. =)

Hunting food far away from PJ, and this time I have dropped by A Wet Thai Cafe which located at Taman Cheras.

Pandan Water (refill) - RM2

Tom Yam Seafood Soup - RM16, can't remember how it taste like, a bit normal I guess.

Green Curry - RM16, the green curry is good, we like it..

Thai BBQ Salt Baked Fish - RM40 (Market Price).. Another good choice tho..

Fried French Bean Shoots - RM12. I love this vegetable too, yummy..

Dessert time! RM5.90 each.. It just a normal dessert infact, so try it or not? Your call.. =)

Total bill end up RM115.20 for 4 of us. Oh, not to forget, rice cost RM6 for 4pax, which mean RM1.50/pax.

这是我第三次光顾新宝岛餐厅，而这一次尝试的是石头火锅，石头火锅不但味道鲜美而且在石头锅里会产生大量对人体健康与调理气血有帮助的矿物质，是火锅之经典之作。两人份的石头火锅 - RM59 另加火锅服务费RM5.90。所谓的火锅服务费乃是因为印度大兄会帮大家将一些材料和酱料放在石头锅里爆香和一些准备功夫。。分解图如下：

感谢老板娘热情款待的芝麻鸡。。

香脆的芝麻鸡，一口的鸡肉，一口的芝麻。。太美味了！

这是“青蛙下蛋”，所谓的“青蛙下蛋”乃是爱玉冰+珍珠的饮品。。珍珠呢? 还没。。因为青蛙还没下蛋啊。。哈哈!

在享受石头火锅前，先来一碟“不知名”的鱼吧。。

把馒头沾上鱼酱，不错吃。。

两人分的火锅材料。。可供四人享受噢！

这一些材料和酱料将会放在石头锅里爆香。。

再加上鸡肉与生蚝去炒，香喷喷的。。

Ding Ding Ding!!! To all lamb lover, please pay attention! Recognize this stall which located at Jalan Kuchai Lama? Believe most of the lamb lover familiar on this -- Cao Cao BBQ Lamb as it has been blogged by couple of floggers too.

Just some little suggestion for my reader, if you're craving for lamb and some other dishes for dinner at the same time, this might be the ideal place for you. You would able to find wantan mee, char keow teow, rice, satay and etc.

Enjoy BBQ Chicken Wing and BBQ Lamb at the same time, woah.. How nice~ :) BBQ Chicken Wing - RM2.20/piece

Love to dip BBQ Lamb with mint sauce, the combination is just so nice. You may dip with chilli sauce too.

The meat was tender, not hard at all. I'm very satisfy with this meal. No regret. RM7.50/piece

I have ordered prawn mee at the same time for my dinner, however it just taste normal for me. Maybe I'm too choosy? lolz. Yea, frankly speaking, it's hard for me to find a delicious Penang Hokkien Mee (Prawn Mee) at these days. Any recommendation?

I was watching on one old love story movie while blogging on this review, the movie called "50 first date", remember that? It's been long time but it's still a funny movie for me.. Sometimes it's fun to review back those old movie, right?

Anyhow, this movie is not related to Victoria Station at all. =) The reason we visit Victoria Station is to celebrate one of our colleague birthday on that day, thus we decide to pay a visit to this restaurant at Medan Damansara.

Pasta de Gohan @ Sunway Pyramid (New Wing), regret to said that I'm not really in to this restaurant after the visit. As I feel it's abit pricey and not my favour. And I can't finish the meal as well.. Same as my friend, kinda wasted yea..

Pasta de Gohan @ Sunway Pyramid is a first branches which opened in Malaysia by Pasta de Waraku in Singapore.

We have go for their pasta set menu which cost RM36.80/set. There are 3 different set of choices for you..

All the pasta set comes with 1 salad and corn soup.

My friend has ordered Pizza Set which come with choice of 1 pasta selection, salad, corn soup and 1 mini pizza.

Carbonara WARAKU style pasta..

This is the Gratin Set which comes with choice of 1 pasta selection, salad, corn soup and gratin.

Cod Roe with wafu sauce pasta.. It's abit dry for me and I can't finish it.. =)

Overall, Pasta de Gohan might not my favour as I'm not really enjoy with the meals.. However, there is no harm for you to try it out, as it's still depending on people.. =)

Well, what comes into your mind when you visit Ipoh?? Ipoh Bean Sprouts Chicken Rice or Ipoh Salted Chicken as everyone's familiar? I believe Foh San Dim Sum will be one of the must visit restaurant in Ipoh, however there are one and the only one thing I can describe for Foh San Dim Sum Restaurant.. which is "crowded"!!! Full of peoples!!!

Foh San Dim Sum has shifted to new location which is much more bigger then old one and looks just like a bangalow, I am amazed.. Wonder how good a dim sum business can be..

There are 2 floors for the restaurant but it's pack of peoples, we can't even find an empty place. Been searching and waiting for about half an hour and successfully get an empty place. Phew, it just a dim sum man..

This vegetable called as Khai Jiao - Egg Fong Yong with assorted vegetables.. RM12. Worth to try.

Recommended dish - Gaeng Phet Yaeng, roasted duck curry with seasonal fruit. RM30 for (S), RM50 (B)

Another good try, Gai Phad Grapow - Pan-fried minced chicken with thai holy basil. RM15

Tom Som with seafood, clear galangal-lemongrass-lime soup with aromatic thai herbs. This is My Elephant's restaurant recommended dish, however it taste too sour for me.. Guess not my favour..

Egg Omelette with Fish Otak Otak - RM10

Lastly, we ordered My Elephant Platter, it comes with Tod Man Plah, Popiah Tod, Golden Parcel, Prawn Wanton & Fresh Popiah. RM22.. However, it din't suprise me as it just a normal fried stuff for me, nothing special. =)

Dinner end up with RM160.60, it's worthy anyhow, I will definitely come back again.. Please always call for advance booking if you want to give it a try as the restaurant always full house, good buiness yea.. Visit their website for more info.

Solaris Mont Kiara, a fine place where all the folk organizing their celebration, gathering or just a normal dining will do in this cozy and comfort environment, enjoying delicious food and atmosphere..

An event sent out by one of the colleague, the very first purpose is just makan outing within the team, however end up a farewell dinner as we got to know one of the colleague will be leaving the company after that day. Thus, wish him all the best here.. =)

Ole Ole Bali, a restaurant serving Balinese's food, you may also find their sister company at Sunway and Puchong as well. Another Ole Ole Bali restaurant located at New Sunway Piramid and Bumbu Bali restaurant at Bandar Puteri Punchong, lastly, Waterlily Cafe at Pusat Perdagangan IOI, Puchong.

Eventhough everything sounds perfect, however something still make all of us unhappy.. As we have made reservation the day before earlier, table for 14, and we believe that Ole Ole Bali should make the arrangement to ensure that their customer can happily get their seat when they are arrived.

What happened is, when we arrrived, we found out that a group of poeple were sitting on our reserved place and insist not to leave, and their reserved place was at outside. The management can't do anything on this even we have made our complaint, end up we seated at 4 round tables, 14 of us?

I do hope that the management can do it better in future as they should understand what is the purpose of "reservation".. Customer satisfaction is pretty important to running the business..

Well, let's forget the incident and enjoy the great food with great people.. A jug of Barley Lime to cool us down - RM18

Guess this is a must order for all of the people who visit Ole Ole Bali? Ole Ole Trio @ RM38 comes with Satay lily, squids and chicken..

Squids taste pretty good as well as the satay lily. Hmm.. I'm hungry while staring on this picture.. lol

Seafood platter @ RM32, served with a bowl of salad, a piece of watermelon, grilled dorry fillet, prawns, squids and fries..

Tak Fok Crabby Meals

After serveral discussion, we have decided to go for crabby meals session as our ex-colleagues gathering aka makan outing.. Tak Fok Hong Kong Restaurant which located at Desa Aman Puri, Kepong has a pretty good business as their crab sells in a cheaper price which is RM20 per kg for Chessy crab and RM22 per kg for salted egg yolk crab.. They used to be even more cheaper sold at price of RM18 per kg before they getting famous and famous.

We arrived around 7pm and the restaurant has almost full house, no reservation is allowed in this restaurant, thus make it earlier if you don't wish to wait for an age.

Please bear in mind, there is a rule for Tak Fok restaurant, which if you wish to order 2kg of crabs you must order additional 3 dishes and if you order 3kg of crabs, additional of 4 dishes is a must, and so on.. Guess this is how they cover their crabs price.

My beloved seafood ~ crab! 1kg of cheesy crab, never enough for all of us! Waiting for buns to dip into the fantastic cheese and butter gravy.. =)

Another kg of Marmite Crabs, most of my ex-colleagues fall in love with this, they just can't stop to eating it..

And.. this is the superb Salted egg yolk crabs.. Tasty~tasty and tasty~..

A big plate of buns let you dip into the chesse and butter gravy.. Sounds great huh.. RM6 for 12 buns..

"Fu Yu" chicken - RM40

Coconut shrimps whereby they have only comes with 14 shrimps and there are 8 of us, thus we have ordered additional 2 shrimps for this dish. It cost us RM35.

As per displayed picture, coconut shrimps is a curry dish where they stuff all the prawns and some vege inside the coconut shell.

Tak Fok Signature's Fried Beancurd - RM25

I'm pretty satisfied for the dinner as I had a wonderful crabby meal, however I still think that it's too much to put such a rule whereby you need to order certain dishes to cover back their crab price.. The bill end up with RM207.50 including drink and service charge.

By the way, if you don't wish to come along to Kepong, they have another branch which located at Bandar Puteri Puchong, is another choice for Puchong resident.. =)

My birthday celebration, nothing fancy, no romance scene, no big suprise, but sweetest celebration, as it is only both of us.. =)

Have suggested few places for dinner previously however due to some reasons, we have change the dinner venue to Tropicana City Mall, dinner at San Francisco Steakhouse and pick "The Taking of Pelham 123" as movie..

Lovely Häagen-Dazs Strawberry Milk Shake - RM14.90, slurppss.. I just LOVE Häagen-Dazs... ^^* Oh, not forget to mentioned, the other is Diet Coke - RM6.90.. Hehehe..

Complimentary bread with garlic.. Just wonder why it is from Santini??

Main course! There you go! My all time favourite.. Lamb Chop - RM33.90, the meat was tender and most importantly is, it don't have milky smell.. Thus, it should be acceptable for those poeple who don't like milky smell lamb chop..

Forest Mushroom Sauce - RM2.90. I just realise the sauce is not comes with the steaks but additional order.. Opps..

Strip Steak, a perfectly flavoured and fabulous charbroiled sirloin steak - RM45.90.. A medium-well-steak goes perfectly for sirloin steak.. However, it still depends on individual flavours..

Dinner was perfect, eventhough it's abit rushing, but always appreciate what you have now and I'm glad what I have now.. =)

Broga Hill

In 2009, my special pre-birthday celebration was fall on Sunday, 2nd August. It was kinda fun and unforgettable birthday celebration as it was held at Broga Hill, Semenyih. One of the popular jungle trekking spot of the year..

Have gone through some of the blog and got to know that in order to catch sunrise at Broga Hill must be reach the peak before 5.30am. Thus, we have decided to wake up earlier to catch the beautiful sunrise. =)

We have start our journey from PJ to Semenyih at 4.30am where the sky is still dark and everyone is still enjoying their sweet dream. It took about 45minutes in order to arrived broga town... Well, it still depends which route you're using on, please scroll down to the bottom and refer to the location map for more understanding..

Arrived Broga town at 5.15am and start hikking at 5.30am, as the sky still dark and is our first time been to broga hill, thus we have follow a group of peoples to hike, to ensure that we're safe and not getting lost.. =P

It has took about 1 hour and 15minutes to reach the 4th check point, the last check point as well, as you can see, we probably has missed the sunrise.. too bad.. =(

7am at Broga Hill.. fresh air, comfortable wind, enjoyable place..

Hold the tight rope, let it help you to climb down from 4th check point..

Lovely muffin chocolate brought by Queenie and Elvin, far away from Kepong to Semenyih, from 1st check point - 4th check point, this is lovely! Thanks for the birthday muffin cake.. Appreciate..

Check this out! The way from 2nd check point to 3rd check point, there are actually 2 route whereby both will lead you to the same destination however, as you can see, left red-arrow will be more oblique than what you thought, so I would advise you to take the right red-arrow path to the 3rd check point.

We don't feel the danger of the road while trek at 5.30am as the sky still dark, not until the way we walk back from the hill..

Bear in mind, please bring torch light if you want to hike before the sky turn bright..

The starting point for hiking is the palm oil estate which is opposite side of Rabbit farm. You may just park your car at road side or a long the palm oil estate. Just follow the trail that will leads you to the peak. Howevere, if you're not familiar, always follow the group who has experience.

Few things you migh need to prepare if you are interested to hike Broga Hill:

1. Torchlight (If you plan to hike early in the morning)
2. Tower (You will gonna sweat a lot)
3. Extra T-shirt
4. Big bottle of water/Isotonic drink (I have brought a bottle of 100 plus)
5. Bread/Chocolate (In case you're hungry)
6. Camera (For photograhy lover and to catch the beauty of Broga Hill)
7. Insect repellent
8. Wear long pant (Mosquitoes feels hungry in Broga Hill)
9. Bring some medicine (In case you're not feeling well)
10. A good hiking shoes (I got my new hiking shoes as a birthday present from him.. ^^*)

Senjyu Sushi Restaurant located at ground floor of Cineleisure Damansara, which is just beside of McDonald and opposite side of Tony Roma. Most of the people might just ignore it when they pass by this restaurant, so do I previously.

However, I changed my mind after review vkeong's blog which he has went there for food tasting session. Check it out!

Black plate cost - RM4/plate, one of my favourite dish as it has unagi topping up. Yummylicious.. ^^

Baby octopus, silver plate - RM6/plate

Edamame - green soybeans, one of the favourite snack for Japanese.. RM4

One set of Salmon Mentai Zen set meal - RM39.90, comes with Salmon, Tempura, Miso Soup, Steamed egg and a bowl of rice. It's kinda worthy for their set meal.

Salmon Kabuto Shioya - RM14.90, have read one of the book and got to know that the most tender meat was the fish cheeks, 鱼面颊. And I got it all from my dear.. =)

We shall called it as 幸福の鱼面颊, if you ever heard of this book, from a Taiwanese author - 张小娴, I like her book so much.. Hehe..

Meaty fish head.. Wanna give it a try to Senjyu Sushi? Maybe you shall change your mind and give it a try.. You will not regret.. =)

Yap Chuan Bak Kut Teh

I have been told of this Yap Chuan Bak Kut Teh - 葉全(乾)肉骨茶 serveral times by my sister and her boyfriend, and finally I have got chance to give it a try on this famous Bak Kut Teh in Puchong.

As known, there is a 14 years old boy, small chef has won the title of “Malaysian Bak Kut Teh King” in a national competition, you can even found the banner outside their restaurant with picture. So why not give it a try?

We have ordered big bone soup bak kut teh, the soup was thick enough, however I felt very thirsty after the meal. Too much of "Ajinomoto" MSG?

Here it comes, Dry Bak Kut Teh, the dry version taste good to be honest, I like the sauce very much and the ladies’ fingers as well.. =)

Overall, their dry version of bak kut teh was good, you should give it a try if you do have a chance. Of course, it doesn't mean that their soup bak kut teh is not good, it just that everytime I had it, I felt thirstier..

距离上一次光顾新宝岛餐厅只有一个月的时间吧，现在的我又重回到新宝岛餐厅咯！皆因为父母和家人难得南下吉隆坡来和我们会和，再出发到越南-河内，六天五夜之旅。。

因此，我决定携带家人来尝一尝道地的台湾风味美食-新宝岛餐厅，希望他们会喜欢吧！

这一次，我们叫了“竹筒饭”，果然名不虚传，香喷喷的竹筒饭好好吃噢！不错的介绍。。

美味又难忘的佳肴来咯！来的有奶油鳗鱼和麦片炸鸡，奶油鳗鱼可是我的最爱噢！我对它可是念念不忘的，真的太美味了！

老板娘！再来一碟奶油鳗鱼吧！！！

再来的有合适配饭的“芋头鸡肉”，将浓浓的芋头汁淋在竹筒饭上，别有一番风味。。

麻婆豆腐再配上一碗番薯粥，最简单的也是最美味的。。

谢谢老板娘的热情招待，为我们送上了好几碗的番薯粥。。

一个完整的晚餐又怎么少的了蔬菜呢？最后再来了一道清炒蔬菜配上番薯粥或竹筒饭都一样可口。。

甜品时间到咯! 我又来尝尝他们的“拔丝芋头”咯！

现场的有印度大兄为我们表演的拔丝！看到了那一丝丝的麦芽糖吗？老板娘特地吩咐了他弄了几回好让我照相噢。。

美味的拔丝芋头上桌咯！

热情的款待和美味的佳肴是我再次光顾新宝岛餐厅的主要原因。。价格上或许会比普通的餐馆还要昂贵了些，但是一家人能够开开心心的享受一顿丰富又愉快的晚餐才是最值得的吧?

Fong Lye Taiwan Restaurant @ The Garden

How many times you guys has stepped into The Garden shopping mall since it's opening? This is my 2nd time since it's opening and the reason it's still paid a visit to one of the restaurant there. Fong Lye Taiwan Restaurant located at 3rd floor which is just opposite side of Sushi Zanmai Japanese restaurant.

The ambience was cozy yet comfortable, a nice place for gathering and having lunch with a bunch of friends/colleagues.

Our order list, however, I can't understand why additional tea cup need to pay extra RM3? Ain't it just an extra cup?

Hot Taiwan "Gui Hua" oolong tea.. RM12 for 2 persons + 1 additional cup RM3.

My friend has ordered "three varieties of supreme diced chicken" set lunch, 三杯鸡套餐 - RM19.80. Every set meal comes with a platter of three appetisers, a bowl of rice with minced pork and soup of the day.

Noodle set meal - "Taiwan minced meat sauce noodle", 台湾炸酱面 - RM17.80.

Last but not least - "Chicken with scallion sauce" set meal, RM19.80. It just a normal chicken set meal, nothing special. I would more prefer their bowl of rice with minced pork. It taste good!

Total bill end up with RM83.25. Will I pay for 2nd visit to this restaurant? I guess the answer is yes if my friend ask for it.. =)

RM10 durian buffet @ SS2

The durian season has begin!!! Everyone seems crazy about durian within these few months as the durian season fall on June - August. And now, durian buffet even available at SS2, Petaling Jaya, thus, me and my makan gang has heading to SS2 for our durian feast!

There are few stalls available and it's located just behind police station and BHP petrol station at SS2, you can easily spot it if you pass by the "bridal street" at SS2.

We have tried out the RM10 "Makan Sampai Kenyang" Pahang durian stall. Hope that we can eat till drop.. =P

There are actually few stalls at same area, thus you can even find RM5 All you can eat durian and also RM9 All you can eat durian buffet available.

Please bear in mind, for RM10 durian buffet, what you can get is only kampung durian but not D24, red prawn and some others branded durian. But, cheaper durian doesn't mean bad and branded durian doesn't mean very good isn't it?

While waiting some of our makan gang arrive, we have asked the staff there to get us few durians for shooting and makan-ing too.

The first round durian was good, we are pretty satisfy for the durians they gave to us.

See the durian? Even is just kampung durian, but still good right?

However... When it goes to 2nd and 3rd round.. The durian quality has dropped. We found out that the durian they gave us was hard and less taste. We are pretty disappointed and start complaining to one of the Malay staff there. Were requested him to give us nice durian like 1st round.

My part of makan makan gang..

And know what? The complain did works! The malay guy has gave us one big bonus for this durian buffet! D24 durian!!! And this is the best durian we have ever had in this durian buffet.. I guess sometimes consumer really need to sound out so that we can have a better service and better treat~ =)

In conclusion, my quota for durian in this year has finished used. So please try again next year! From now on, I have to drink a lot of plain water, green tea and also 100 plus isotonic drink to cool down my body heat.. This is what you need to pay for after durian feast~ ^^

After serveral consideration, I decided to post this food review in chinese version. Thus, apologize for those reader who are not able to read chinese. Hopefully you guys will enjoy the chinese version and the display pictures too.. =)

有时候我不得不佩服部落格的伟大，就在一个机缘巧合之下，无意间的给我发现了这一间台湾餐馆 - 新宝岛餐厅，坐落于SS2，Mobile 油站的斜对面。之所以懂得它的存在皆是因为这家餐厅的老板娘邀请了不少的部落客去试吃她的美食，再将它宣传上网。。

老板娘还是道地的台湾人哦！这一天，我终于有机会到新宝岛餐厅一去品尝它的美食。。好吧！就让它的美食来满足馋嘴的我吧！

新宝岛餐厅外观。。

营业时间：Daily: 12pm-3pm; 6pm-11pm. 餐厅的位子并不多，大概不到十张桌子吧，而且时常满座，因此记得要早点到或者打电话去定位吧！

我们选择了4-5个人的晚餐配套 (RM98.00++)，配套包括：冷热饮料，布丁，任选四样佳肴，以及白饭任添。

桌上的饮料有八宝凉茶和台湾酸梅水，根据老板娘说冷的酸梅水更好喝哦！

我们叫了“奶油鳗鱼”，撒在炸鳗鱼上的奶油麦片好好吃哦，值得推荐的一道菜！

再来的有“竹筒鲜虾”，共来了两个竹筒，里面各自盛满了六只鲜虾。。

很像在竹筒里游泳的鲜虾吧？厨师加了一些白酒在汤里，因此汤里飘起了淡淡的白酒的味道。将汤淋在白饭里，在配其它的佳肴，很不赖哦。。

糟了！我竟然忘了这道菜的大名也！我想因该是“发财金菇西施舌”吧？有谁懂吗？请纠正我。。 =）

第四道佳肴来的有“台湾锅烧芋头鸡”，将浓浓的汁捞来配饭，不错的选择。。

甜品来的有“拔丝罐头”，精彩的在于您可看到在一间台湾餐厅竟然有一位印度大兄在为您表演拔丝。。台湾vs.印度？

印度大兄首先将烧热的芋头沾满麦芽糖，再将它放进冰水里冷冻，芋头瞬间变硬咯！好神奇噢！

拔丝罐头来咯！

最后的有“绿茶布丁”，滑滑嫩嫩的布丁，口感不错噢。。

账单总计的有 RM102.90。。这是一间很不错的餐厅，老板娘的服务也超好的，很值得推荐。。

Can't resist of taking Thai food even just back from Bangkok trip? Well, there is a place to satisfy your stomach -- Khuntai Restaurant @ Off Jalan Gasing. There are 2 branches of Khuntai Restaurant which is located at Penang - Butterworth and PJ - Jalan Gasing.

Cracking my head where to had my makan makan trip dinner with my colleagues previously, came out with few ideas and finally decided to try out this as I have been to this place 2 times and kinda satisfy their Tom yam soup. So, there you go~

There are 14 of us join for this dinner, thus we have go for their special set 2 which only RM238, 10 dishes with unlimited refil of rice and one jar of Umbra Juice.

Thai's appetizer - Miangkam, come with cilantro leaves and a cup of honey and of course, some other ingredients.

Clock wise, start from the onion, roasted peanuts, dried shrimp, roasted unsweetened shredded coconut, ginger, lime and Thai chillies..

Way to eat: wrapped it and filling with all the ingredients with some honey.. at last.. chew it! It makes a great party food!

Warning: Do not put too much of Thai's chillies if you can't take spicy.. lolz

Bangkok - Good Bye! The Land Of Smiles..

Time flies.. It's our last day trip in Bangkok, and also the most rushing day within these 4 days.. Today, we going to experience BTS Sky Train in Bangkok, our way to famous weekend market - Chatuchak..

BTS Sky Train operation hours is from 0600 - 2400 daily. I found out Bangkok sky train is kinda systematic, at least compare to our own country. Due to they have free map provided to all the tourist, is so convenience for all of us. Eventhought when the train arrived each station, the LCD screen did show you which door is going to open so that you can get ready and won't get panic. This is very impressive.

BTS Sky Train separate in two line which you can recognize in light green and dark green colour, also called as Sukhumvit Line and Silom Line. Which mean I need to transit if I wanna go to Chatuchak weekend market. My route: From Sala Daeng - Siam (20baht) transit -> from Siam - Mo Chit (35baht)

Superb HOT day in Chatuchak weekend market! A big cup of mixed fruit juice will help.. =D

We picked one of the mixed fruit juice with price of erm.. 60baht? Opps, forgotten..

With no kidding, you might need to take 1 whole day for Chatuchak weekend market. It's a huge area with over 15,000 stalls and more than 200,000 visitors every Saturday and Sunday. You might get lost too..

I can't resist to brought back one of the creative home made clock back to home from here, it's so attractive me..

Time flies.. Blink blink my eyes, it's my 3rd day in Bangkok now. As usual, we were woke up at 5.30am in the morning for our half day tour - a trip to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. We have bought half day tour package from Lamphu Guesthouse, unfortuately I have forgotten how much for our half day tour package because we got a special discount rate for it! =P

Anyhow, just to let you all know the standard price for Damnoen Saduak Floating Market half day tour will be around 250baht, including transport and speed boat sending. When you arrived there, you will need to pay another 100-150baht for the paddle boat service and someone will take you for a ride. Else, you can just walk on the passage along the canal.. It's up to you..

Here we are... Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Gosh, another freaking hot day! We have paid 100baht/pax for a ride..

You can see peoples are sellings souvenir, fruits, foods and even this.. A photo with big snake!

Thai style bihun, 20baht/bowl.. It taste good my friend, you should try this!

Some Thai style crispy pancake.. 20baht for small one.. We have spent sometimes to walk around the area and look for some souvenir before we heading back to Lamphu area.

The Grand Palace.. We have dropped by to The Grand Palace after Floating market half day tour and it's around 1.30pm afternoon? Can you imagine how sunny it is? There are lots of peoples heading to Grand Palace on that day due to it's Wesak day.

Warning!!! Prohibited Outfit! Do not wear short pant, singlet to The Grand Palace.. They will not allowed you to get in there! And we.. 7 of us has failed to get into the place because we are not following the rules. Thus, we will need to rent the costume from the office, 100baht for each item.

Look! This is how we looks like after wearing their costume. I feel like I'm back to secondary school! A great experience for us tho. =)

Lunch time lunch time!!! McD will be our choice because we wanna try out their pork burger! We have took tuk tuk to the destination which is nearby Grand Palace. 60baht/tuk tuk. Remember to negotiate the rate because you always can get a lower price than what they ask for.

It's time to say goodbye to Lamphu Guesthouse before heading to City.. We got a very helpful owner/staff (i'm not too sure) to help us on this. A direction to HQ Hostel..

Last but not least, we have wrote something for Lamphu Guesthouse.. JJCM's are here! We have a wonderful time in Lamphu Guesthouse, will definitely come back one day.. =)

No worries guys, the bathroom is pretty clean..

The crew! As there are 7 of us, thus we have stayed at Room Type E: 8 bunk beds with air-condition.. For those peoples who have smaller groups and would like to stay at HQ Hostel, no worries for the privacy as they have room type which is from 4 bunk beds to 10 bunk beds and even a queen side bed for 2 peoples!

Time for dinner before heading to Patpong night market area.. We have chosen a road side stall for our dinner and I have claimed that this is the best dinner I had within these 4 days trip.. A very lovely owner say hello when I snap a picture of him..

Patpong night market.. How shall I descript this place? Hmm.. Is somewhere like "Petaling street" in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia? Sort of if you all agreed.. However, there is something petaling street don't have which is "Thai girl show" along Patpong night market.. Sounds interesting? I don't know, because I found out the Thai girl show in Patpong area is just so different from Pattaya and Hatyai.. Thus, we just passby the area.. =P

However, I found this in Patpong night market! Naraya shop!!! Wee.. Finally I found it, Naraya! My sisters and my favourite bag.. One of the mission I'm here is to shop and buy the Naraya bag.. So, gentleman.. Pardon me.. I need to get in and shop for the bag!!!

Naraya bag.. Also called as 曼谷包, originally from Bangkok, Thailand.. I wonder why there is no branches in Malaysia.. What a waste...

Bangkok - The Land Of Smiles, Day 2

Get ready at 7am in the morning and walk through the quiet street with the fresh air, it's so wonderful.. Yes, we are ready for 1 day tour! Bought the package from one of the local tour outside Lamphu Guesthouse with 530baht/pax, including lunch.

We have heading to Kanchanaburi War Cemetery after 7.30am while picked up all the tourist at different guest house. It took approximately 2 hours to reached the destination from Lamphu area.

Kanchanaburi War Cemetery known as Don-Rak War Cemetery. It is located opposite Kanchanaburi's Railway Station on Saengchootoe Road. It contains the remains of 6,982 Australian, Dutch and British war prisoners who lost their lives during the construction of the Death Railway.

Sometimes you can even found their relatives has been here for visiting too.

We have stayed around 20 minutes before heading towards War Museum.

The outside view of War Museum, if you would like to get into museum and explore the stories about World War II, there is an admission fees needed. Else, you may just hang around outside and take some pictures. We didn't pay for a visit at museum, thus some pictures took at outside will do.

This is the train while Japanese used for the transportation to send all the necessary stuff to Indian - Burma.

The Bridge on the River Kwai, another story of World War II.

The black iron bridge was brought from Java by the Japanese supervision by Allied prisoner-of-war labour as part of the Death Raiway linking Thailand with Burma. Still in use today, the bridge was the target of frequent Allied bombing raids during World War II and was rebuild after war ended.

We are the members of JJCM! It has took about 30-45minutes of the bamboo rafting before heading back to Lamphu area and we did enjoyed a lot on the journey as well as the sweat.. lolx

Padthai, our the night dinner. You can find this stall along the road and night market as well.. Menu as Padthai with chicken, Padthai with pork, with eggs and etc etc.. Price from 25baht - 35baht.

It just like "char keow teow" in Malaysia? But it's just too salty for the Padthai, she has put too much of salts on that night.. I can't even finish it.. =(

We have decided to go for fruit shake after the salty dinner.. Look at all the fruits.. you just name it!

Wow.. I felt freshed!

This is the stall sells of alcohol drink.. You can find it everywhere along the road, peoples just sitting there and enjoy a couple of drinks with their buddies.. Nice one huh?

Night market nearby our area.. This is the area where all the pubs located at too..

And this, yes.. We are going for temporary tattoo.. Just for fun yea~ It can last for 2 weeks time..

Da lang~ That's mine! I have forgotten how much I paid for this.. Hmm.. About 250baht? The price might different compared with the size.

This is the Thai's night life at the other side of night market.. This is the area where most of the Thai's peoples gather together and enjoy a couples of drinks with their friends..

Soi Rambuttri road.. In case some of you would like to stay at Lamphu Guesthouse or pay a visit to these area, Soi Rambuttri road is where the Lamphu GH located at.. Nevertheless, we have went for oil massage before we hit on the bed and call it a day! 250baht/hour. Wow! I just like thai massage..

Bangkok - The Land Of Smiles, Day 1

A simple 4 days 3 nights trip to Bangkok - Thailand, has gathered a group of buddies back together in the city. Although this is not as perfect as it can be along the journey, but I'm still enjoying the trip in Bangkok, simply because I have sweet escape from my busy workload and we are back together again! My buddies...

The travel review has separated in 4 parts which is represent my 4 days trip. And today, I will try my best to write on my day 1 trip. Not forget to mentioned, I almost declared bankruptcy after back from Bangkok, I spent too much!!!!

I have changed RM1.5k for backup plan purpose, it's always more better than less right? Currency rate RM1 = 9.6baht.

Our flight depart at 10.40am MYT, 6th May 2009. Thus, breakfast took at McD while waiting on board.. My big breakfast with a cup of coffee!

2 forms you need to fill up before landed which is Immigration form and one of the questionnaire from International Communicable Disease Control Office.

Just a little tips for you all, if you are backpack trip just like us. You may go to Entrance 4 (Level 4) to get a taxi to your destination, if you're getting taxi at level 2, there might be some extra charges needed.

Since there are 7 of us in the trip, thus we have took van from air-port to Lamphu area, approximately 45 minutes journey, 900baht/van. Remember to negotiate with the taxi driver to get a better price.

This is the taxi/mini bus service agent, Satja who approached us when we arrived air-port, if you have a gang of peoples and need a van bring you to destination or Pattaya, you may call his contact number as above displayed.

Sawadeka~ We are here, Thailand..

A local phone number is important for a backpacker for contact purpose, thus we have bought a SIM pack from True move at 49baht and 150baht top up. That's our number in Bangkok.. and it's been void now.. =P

Here we are! Lamphu Guesthouse, an idle guesthouse for all the backpackers, strongly recommended by most of the backpackers and me as well. Simply because Lamphu Guesthouse provide a clean, cozy, quiet, private, comfortable place to all the backpakers. I have a great time here.

We have spent 3 days 2 nights in Lamphu Guesthouse before we moved on to the city, and this is the day, noon and evening at Soi Rambutri road.

1st day mission in BKK is to explore the culture of Thailand, thus we just walk around and hunt for our first lunch in BKK. There you go~ Valla Cha Cha, the road side stall.

Seafood Seafood, Tom Yam Tom Yam.. All in our mind now..

Beer in Thailand is pretty cheap, hence you can see people is actually drinking beer all the time, no matter day or night. Beer Chang is one of it, it only cost 35baht/small, 45baht/large. How about soft drink? 10baht/bottle. Wasn't cheap? lol

However, Beer might be slightly expensive at other places such as restaurant or some hot spot area, bear in mind.

It's a super hot season on May, all of us enjoy the foods with lots of sweat.. And we still found this. He is selling steamed peanuts on this hot day.. Wonder if there is any business? And I believe a scope of ice cream might save us.. =)

Yeah! Here it comes! Thailand's ice cream, yum yum.. 2 scopes of ice cream with coconut milk and some topping, what a wonderful dessert.. 15baht/cup.

We have decided to walk around Lamphu area and Chao Praya River will be our first destination. It might took approximately 20 minutes from Soi Rambutri road. We are not pretty sure how to get there, thus we have took tuk tuk to Chao Praya River and cost about 50baht/tuk tuk.

We found this! Some peoples are playing acrobatics at the parks, they might be some performers i guess..

No smoking/no alcohol sign is everywhere in Bangkok. Thus, you will hardly see Thai peoples smoking.. Malaysia should implement the same right?

Thai coffee.. A must try! They put a lot of milk in the coffee and taste really good.

It's time for massage! We tried on foot massage at first day, 1/2 hour = 100baht.

Thai's sausages? I didn't try on this because it's time for me to sleep and I need to wake up 5.30am in the morning for my 1 day tour.. Good night my friends.. =)

Believe most of the persons who have been to Malacca must have try on their lok lok which is also called as satay celup. How about Penang lok lok? New Corner Lok Lok located at Penang, Seberang Prai, Chai Leng Park's hawker stall. This is a must have when I'm going back to my hometown - Bukit Mertajam. Simpy because they have variety choice of dishes and also variety choice of sauces.. *drowling~*

New Corner Lok Lok is one of the famous lok lok stall around Chai Leng Park area, it's pretty easy to spot the location as it is the first stall at the corner around the hawker stalls. If you feel like sitting inside the air-condition room, the boss has opened another outlet just opposite site of the stall and you may enjoy the cool air together with the lok lok.. Feel cool right?

There are foods for frying and also for boiling, so just take anythings that you like and enjoy it!

Pasta Zanmai is one of the outlet which under SuperSushi Sdn Bhd, as same as Sushi Zanmai and Sushi Zen outlet. Maybe you will curious what food does Pasta Zanmai serve actually? Pasta? or Sushi? Yeap, they are actually serve Japanese fusion food, a combination of pasta and sushi, healthy Japanese food and the love for pasta.

I did tried on Sushi Zanmai a couple of months ago, and now Pasta Zanmai has took my attention too and I decided to give it a try @ 1 Utama. Few outlet of Pasta Zanmai you could find in KL which located at 1 Utama, Mid Valley and Hartamas.

This is one of the outlet at 1 Utama, located at Ground Floor Promenade.. When you stepped into their restaurant, the front part was actually selling all the Japanese grocery from candy to noodles or Japanese wine. All you can find it there..

A big pot of Green Tea cost only RM3.. Good idea for Pasta Zanmai as you no need to ask for refill frequently.

One of my friend has ordered their mini pasta set which i think is more worthy than the other 2 ordered. A mini teriyaki chicken pasta + pizza, RM22.

From first we thought of mini set is just mini and suitable for 1 person, thus we just go ahead and order separately, when the food has served, we only found out that it just too much for 1 person as it's more like "medium" set, so for those who can't eat too much and would like to share with your friend, this will be a good idea for you.

Mini Chicken Teriyaki Pasta + Pizza set..

Ladies and gentlemen! The most worthy mini pasta set has served! I have ordered "Mini ebi tempura no Gomadare Pasta to Mini Unagi Rice". A set comes with pasta + rice + miso soup. Take a look at their pasta, you might able to finish the pasta but when comes to Unagi rice, I guess you only able to finish all the unagi but not the rice.. lolz

Oh ya, beside, they have provided a bowl of black sesame for you to mixxed with pasta, the taste is so aromatic.. Good try!

Unagi & hot-spring egg on rice.. I can't finish the rice as I have stuffed too much for my mini pasta set. And it only cost RM22, very worthy! The bill end up RM121.90 for 4 of us.

Restaurant Damansara Hokkien Mee - 2nd review

This is the 2nd review of Hokkien Mee which located at Damansara Uptown. Infact, I have visited this place more than 2 times. Why? Simply because they served nice hokkien mee with lots of "zhu yao zha".. in chinese called 猪油渣..

A simple plate of hokkien mee with lots of "chu yao zha" and some vege. Enough of "wok hei", nice meal! Btw, I guess this hokkien mee might be not suitable for some of the person who don't like "chu yao zha", so it still depends lo.. =P

Hokkien Mee @ Seksyen 17

Been introduce by my friend this stall of Hokkien Mee which located at PJ, Seksyen 17. Thus, we are heading to Seksyen 17 one day and try it out. You may find this hokkien mee at one of the restaurant called Restaurant Say Huat around Seksyen 17. I'm not really familiar on that area so pardon me that I can't really point out the exact location.. =)

The hokkien mee taste abit dry on that day, not much "wok hei" too maybe. Overall it still taste ok.. You may try it out if you want.. Hehz..

Not much sentences to a plate of hokkien mee, in fact I can't think too much of sentences now too because it's almost bed time, my braind almost in hung mode. lolz Let the picture tells the story yea..

Fu Lai Dim Sum

Just another review for Dim Sum which you can find it even in the middle of the night. I myself not really good in review of dim sum because I think most of the dim sum more or less the same. I guess what I really concern is the variety of dim sum and the taste of "xiu mai", because this is a must have when I go for dim sum. =)

Fu Lai Dim Sum located at Jalan Kuchai Lama and there is another branch located at Bandar Sri Menjalara, Kepong.

A food review is to gather all the opinion from peoples and according to my friend, it's just ok. In fact, they more prefer the one in Sea Park, again, different people will have different opinion ya. The bill end up RM41.60 for 4 of us and we have erm.. About 13 plates of dim sum..

Hi All~ it's been awhile I didn't update any review, this is due to I have fly to Bangkok for my short trip.. Today is my 3rd day in BKK.. Kinda excited, enjoy, relax and HOT!!! lolz

223 Nasi Lemak

Did you ever wonder what you can get in the middle of the night when you are hungry? Fast food? Hmm.. Not a good idea for tonight.. Maybe some otak-otak and nasi lemak bungkus will do yea?

223 Nasi Lemak is a place which me any my colleagues will visit once awhile when we are working on night shift and come to supper time. It's somewhere located at PJ area. When you heading to Digital Mall, PJ, you will be stopping at Jln 222 traffic light and a Malay Mosque is just at your right handside. Turn to the right after traffic light and go straigh all the way to the end. It's located after Stamford College and opposite Amway building.

Their yummylicious otak-otak at RM0.50/stick.

There are 2 different brand of nasi lemak which recognize with Red/Blue ink stamp. I have tried on 2 different nasi lemak bungkus just to compare which is more delicious.

This is red ink stamp nasi lemak, "Yati" nasi lemak which I personally think more delicious, it just simply because the spice of sambal is just nice and feel like having another pack.

The other brand with blue ink stamp, "Suri" nasi lemak.

"Suri" nasi lemak sambal is more watery and become so spicy on that night, as I know their sambal is not as hot as "Yati" nasi lemak, however on that night what I can feel is just a HOT.. Maybe you will say: more spicy for the nasi lemak, more delicious. I totally agreed with you, but is not applied on that nasi lemak because what I can feel is just a taste of chilli but nothing more. Maybe I should try next time again.

Each pack of the nasi lemak just cost of RM1.20, so it's kinda worthy and you will hardly found a nasi lemak with price of RM1.20 nowadays.

He's Just Not That Into You - The No-Excuses Truth to Understanding Guys.. Believe most of the peoples out there familiar with this movie, especially for girls as it has pay my highly attention before it showing in the cinema. I trutly believe this is one of the best movie I have ever had within a year. I'm glad that finally I have a movie companion who would like to spend sometime to watch this movie with me, thanks to him. Truely appreciated.. =)

Why it can be one of the favourite movie for most of the girls? Is't because of the funny scene/quote? Or is't because there are some handsome/pretty casts? Infact, the movie is actually reflecting the realistic of the relationship among the couples. Some sweetness and also sourness.. Ain't it right?

I have finally bought back the book from Popular bookstore today at price of RM39.90. Here are some quotes from the autor: "Men are not complicated. Alhough they'd like you to think they are. And there are no mixed messages." The truth may be he's just not that into you.

This is the first food review at Tropicana City Mall with my makan companion - Mandy. She has suggested to hunting food at Tropicana City Mall as both of us never been there. Thus, we have heading to Tropicana City Mall after work for our cari makan plan. =P

Kushi Q restaurant located at LG floor which nearby Carrefour or maybe I should said more at corner area at LG. If you are not familiar of the shopping mall, you might like both of us, walking serveral times just to find this shop.

It should have some grill stuff displayed outside, however it's kinda disappointed on that day as they are running out quite some grill stuff.

Green Tea - RM1.50

Kushi Q - a Japanese grill restaurant which you can choose of a la carte or bento set.

Me and Mandy has go for Bento set D - Chicken + Beef + Seafood set, RM10.90. Comes with 4 skewers combination and a choice of rice or salad. However I have changed from beef to chicken as I can't take beef.. ^^

If you are interested on their Japanese ice cream, you may try it out. It's imported from Japan. I did not try it out as it seems abit pricey.. =)

Quota from chinese word: 吃得苦中苦, 方为人上人; it's mean those who can endure the worst of hardship, will only be a better man. Thus, why not bitter gourd? It might not as bitter as what you thought, beside, it can be as delicious as what it is. =)

I'm not a fan of bitter gourd when I was a child, in fact I always try to run away from vegetables and bitter gourd, but now. Bitter gourd will be one of my favourite choice between all the vegetables. I'm growing up! I'm a big girl now? lolz

Tasting Room @ Bangsar

Tasting Room, restaurant and wine bistro which located at Jalan Bangkung, Bangsar, claimed as the best food and most competitive restaurant wine prices in town. Currently, there were features in The Edge as one of the 5 restaurant in their HOT 100 list 2008 as well.

As previouly I have joined tasting room group on facebook, thus I have received their new set lunch menu email from facebook for RM23.90+ per person. Menu comes with Starter, Main Cource, Drink and Dessert.

Tasting Room it's on the first floor of the shop houses (above Wine Cellar). Just some little clue for you, if you are heading from McD, Bangsar which is on your left handside, go straigh and you will passby 2 traffic lights, turn to the left on 2nd traffic light and one of the school will be at your left side. Passby the school and turn to the left junction when you see shop houses and Tasting Room is just right there.. =)

A comfortable yet suitable place for private function and gathering too.

Creamy, spiced spaghetti with prawns, artichoke hearts and mushrooms, it's filling and yummylicious spaghetti. Worth to try..

Pan-fried Dory fillet in a flavoursome anchovy and white wine sauce, served on a bed of creamed spinach with garden vegetables.

Sweet ending of the day - Tiramisu, and finally.. I felt satisfied.. lolz

Happy City BBQ Steamboat Buffet located at Taman Usahawan, Kepong. It's a newly open steamboat buffet which nearby Petronas station and opposite side of HSBC bank. Erm.. to be more accurate... HSBC bank which is nearby Carcarrefour?

Well, it's something special for this buffet than others, due to it's not only for steamboat but it's combination with BBQ (using charcoal for BBQ). More as below.. =)

I can't remember it's been how long I do not have my own Saturday night.. It's been 3 months long? Maybe.. or maybe more.. It's due to my shift pattern and I have to work until Sartuday night or sometimes Sunday morning. Finally, thanks to Mandy, one of my makan gang. She has came out such a good idea for outing at Saturday night. Wonderful SkyBar night @ Traders hotel. And I have decided to applied 3 hours FTO in order to join the outing.

Traders Hotel located just beside KLCC Convention Center, it's easy to find the place if you are famliar enough of KL area. Please press 33 floor to Skybar.. =p
